Tension & Morning Headaches - Clenching your teeth while asleep and during the day is the result of some of the strongest muscles in your body tensing up (up to 6 to 20 times more intensely than non suffers), which can cause morning and tension headaches, and even damage surrounding joints, teeth, and other muscles. (more info)

Migraine Headache - Migraine headaches are sometimes Muscular Tension Headaches that have become severer and hence have the symptoms of migraine headache.

The cause for many of these muscular tension headaches are Activated Muscular Trigger Points. These activated muscular trigger points can be treated quickly and effectively with Trigger Point Therapy.

"The many factors that seem to be related to muscle pain with local spot tenderness in a tense band of muscle fiber are poorly understood by our profession. The role of referred pain from muscle trigger points in facial pain syndromes is often not considered when a diagnosis is made." Quote from Parker E. Mahan from the Forward of the book "Myofascial Pain and Dysfunction, The Trigger Point Manual" written by Janet G. Travell, M.D. & David G. Simons, M.D.

The high intensity contractions of these powerful muscles become painful and the forces generated cause pain to surrounding tissue, joints, and other muscles. By reducing the intensity of the clenching, you're effectively minimizing the source of the pain--in many cases, in just a few days.

We offer alternative ways to reduce the intensity of involuntary clenching at night (and even during the day if stress triggers unconscious involuntary clenching at work and home.
