Benefits of Invisalign™

  • Nearly Invisible - Invisalign is more esthetically pleasing.

  • Better Oral Hygiene - Patients can brush and floss normally to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

  • Comfortable - There are not metal wires or brackets to cause mouth irritations.

  • Removable - Patients can still eat and drink what they want

How does Invisalign work?

  1. An Invisalign™ practitioner takes records of the patient, including PVS impressions, intra and extra-oral photos and x-rays. The records are sent to the Align Technology with the desired treatment goals.

  2. Plaster models are poured and then scanned to create a highly accurate digital image.

  3. A virtual treatment is created with the teeth moving gradually from initial to final position. Each stage corresponds to the movement built into a set of aligners.

  4. This virtual treatment is presented in the form of a movie.

  5. Upon approval of the treatment, align Technology manufactures the customizes aligners, and sends them to the treating practitioner, along with any instructions and attachment of templates required. Sets of aligners are then distributed to the patient at each appointment.

What is Invisalign™?

Invisalign™ is the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom-made, nearly undetectable aligners. And it's been proven effective in both clinical research and in practices nationwide. How often do I have to wear my aligners?

Invisalign™ only works while you are wearing the aligners. It is recommended that you wear your aligners full-time, day and night, except to eat, brush and floss your teeth - or as directed by your doctor.

RETURN

How long does Invisalign™ take?

The duration of your treatment depends on the severity of your case, which determines the number of aligners you need. However, the average is about 12 months, but only your doctor can determine the length of your treatment.

How much does Invisalign™ Cost

As with traditional braces, the cost will be based on the complexity of your case and the length of treatment. Many doctors charge the same for Invisalign™ as they do for traditional braces. Also, if your dental insurance plan covers traditional braces, it will typically covers Invisalign™ to the same extent.
